Exploring the Artistic Journey: From Studio Artist to Graphic Designer
Turning Passion into Professional Artistry
Studio artist turned truck driver, turned graphic designer. Based in the US, My work blends creativity and professionalism, resonating with audiences worldwide.
My journey as an artist has taken an unexpected turn. I began my studies at Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas in 2010. After two years, I transferred institutions. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics and Sculpture from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma December 2014.
The past eight years have seen me navigate a successful career as a truck driver in the greater Chicagoland Metro Area, both over-the-road and locally. While rewarding, this experience has fueled my desire to return to the world of art full-time.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design, expected completion in February 2025, I’m eager to bridge my artistic background with the technical skills of graphic design. This new chapter allows me to rekindle my passion and pursue a fulfilling career in the arts.
My artistic pursuit is driven by a deep desire to explore the unseen struggles and experiences that shape our individuality. I envision creating visual representations of these internal battles and emotions, fostering empathy and understanding for the diverse challenges we all navigate. Whether it’s societal pressures or personal insecurities, I want to give a physical form to the emotional landscapes we carry within.
This journey is about more than just career goals; it’s a testament to the enduring power of artistic expression. Just as clay undergoes transformations to achieve its potential, I believe we all have the capacity to break free from limitations and create something beautiful.
